I am involved with advancing Bitcoin adoption, sharing stories, and developing circular economies in New Zealand and also Japan where I currently live and have my podcast studio.
There is a solid group of Japan-based Bitcoiners (including Japanese-speaking and English-speaking), as well as Bitcoin companies including but not limited to Mempool.space, members of BTCPay Server, Diamond Hands, Tokyo Citadel, and more.

Kamakura Bitcoin Meetups
I host Bitcoin and freedom-tech meetups in Kamakura, Japan.
It is approximately 1 hour by train from central Tokyo and an incredibly beautiful location with a long history. If you are interested in meeting please contact me.
In Kamakura I also host monthly Bitcoin Walks on the last Saturday of each month. Where we bring together people curious to learn about Bitcoin while walking together through the stunning hills and temples of Kamakura while engaging in dialogue about money, politics, game theory, technology, security, energy, environment, philosophy, with Bitcoin at the centre of our conversation.
